The RL18 unit features manual lifting and comprises a robust welded frame, two fixed front wheels, and 360-degree rear wheels. The distance between the front wheels has been adjusted so that the unit can pass underneath a EUR pallet.
The RL18 is designed with a foot-operated hydraulic pump and gear train to make lifting and lowering easy.
The 610 mm (24”) support shaft is fitted with ball bearings on the top side and can easily be replaced with a yoke for lifting the die-cut cylinder from a machine.
The rear wheel is fitted with a secure brake to ensure the roll lifter remains stationary when necessary. This feature is particularly useful for maintaining stability during the installation or removal of a die-cut cylinder, and when placing a roll of substrate onto the unwinder spindle or removing it from the rewinder.
