We are looking for a structured and service-minded Technical Support Engineer to join our international Technical Support Team and help customers maximize the performance of their equipment and systems.


About the Position
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will become an important member of our Aftersales and Support organization. You will work closely with customers around the world, supporting advanced roll-to-roll machinery and automation solutions used in the production of high-performance labels and functional materials.

 

You will join a close-knit and highly collaborative team where colleagues actively support one another and share knowledge across disciplines. You will work closely with engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and project teams to diagnose technical issues, support machine commissioning activities, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to international customers via phone, email, video conferencing, and remote access tools.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues on roll-to-roll machinery and systems.
  • Support installation, testing, and optimization of machine installations and upgrades.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Participate in preparation of quotations, order handling, and field service planning.
  • Maintain technical documentation and customer records in ERP and support systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in training activities and develop expertise across a broad range of machinery and technologies.


Professional Qualifications

  • Degree or technical education within Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with industrial machinery, automation systems, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, motors, and industrial control systems.
  • Flair for troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, or technical service activities.
  • Good IT skills and experience with ERP systems and technical documentation.
  • Professional working knowledge in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Salary and Employment Terms

  • Salary based on qualifications.
  • The position is full-time – 37 hours per week.
