Aftersales Director
Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for excellence in customer support, service innovation, and global impact? Join GM as our new Aftersales Director and play a pivotal role in shaping a world-class aftersales ecosystem.


As we expand globally with multiple brands, we seek a dynamic professional to enhance and build our global aftersales universe. This includes support, services, retrofits, spare parts/consumables, and a training academy. Reporting directly to our CCO, you will have the opportunity to lead, innovate, and transform our after-sales operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

 

About the Role
In this newly created leadership position, you will work cross-functionally to develop cutting-edge aftersales strategies and tools. You’ll lead initiatives that drive customer satisfaction, optimize resource utilization, and improve warranty effectiveness.


Key Objectives:

  • Build and sustain a best-in-class aftersales ecosystem for our customers worldwide.
  • Create market-oriented solutions that enhance customer efficiency and uptime.
  • Develop scalable systems to meet our growing global footprint.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support
  • Lead and oversee technical support to maximize customer efficiency and uptime.
  • Collaborate with global subsidiaries to ensure customer satisfaction and effective resource allocation.

 

Service & SLAs

  • Motivate and coordinate engineers to deliver predictable and timely services.
  • Design and implement a market-driven SLA system that improves customer operations.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to maintain consistency and dynamic communication across teams.
  • Retrofits and Refurbishments
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to optimize customer production through innovative retrofits and refurbishments.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and engineering teams to design and deliver products that drive meaningful improvements for our customers.

 

Spares & Consumables

  • Analyze market demands and develop targeted offerings, fostering strong collaboration with both internal and external partners.
  • Ensure scalability and distribution to optimize our global reach.
  • Training Academy
  • Develop a training setup for customers, offered both face-to-face and online. 
  • Provide ongoing training and re-training for trainers to ensure our customers operate efficiently and effectively.

 

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a leader who combines strategic vision with operational expertise:

  • Proven experience in aftersales management, preferably on a larger scale.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Empathetic and socially adept, with an ability to work across cultures and diverse teams.
  • Expertise in processing and production equipment.
  • Flexible and willing to travel 20+ days annually if required.
