GM’s fast-finishing solutions on show at Dscoop Edge in Long Beach
Supporting the event as a Dscoop/HP Partner, GM will join and exhibit at Dscoop Edge 2025 in Long Beach, California. During the conference on May 14–17, GM will demonstrate its expertise in value-added and cost-efficient converting with the new DC350Mini compact label finisher and the HF350 Hot Foil unit greeting attendees at booth #445.
“We look forward to riding the next wave of industrial digital print with the HP user community during the upcoming gathering at Long Beach,” says Jim Honeycutt, Director of GM America. “GM has been a proud partner of Dscoop for 13 years. We always welcome this fantastic opportunity to meet directly with HP users to discuss new opportunities in digital label converting, while also making new connections.”
A real highlight of the showcase exhibition, the new GM DC350Mini offers space-efficient finishing and die cutting to users in the digital label space. Launched to the North American market at Labelexpo 2024, this compact label finisher builds on the market success of the DC330Mini, the industry-standard workhorse for the past 15 years.
The DC350Mini, with improved ergonomics for smooth operation, takes GM’s concept of ‘Swiss Army knife’ converting to the next level. Running up to 262 ft/min the machine is compatible with any digital press, this class-leading finisher offers high performance, precision cutting, and an ultrashort web path. In addition, the DC350Mini integrates seamlessly with GM hot foil, silk, and screen embellishment solutions. This concept will be demonstrated at Dscoop Edge.
Also on show will be the new HF350 Hot Foil – a 50-ton standalone hot stamping and embossing unit that boasts speeds of up to 230 ft/min. Developed with differential foil shafts, it can run multiple foil streams with different colors and effects, combined with embossing, in a single pass. This user-friendly machine is particularly easy to set up, whether running inline or near-line, and allows printers to add standout embellishment effects at a very cost-effective investment level.
"We’d also love to continue the conversation about high-performance finishing at Labelexpo," says Matthew A Gindele, Vice President – Sales - North America. "Come and talk to us about the DC350Flex+, which we launched at Labelexpo. It features semi-rotary die-cutting at exceptional speeds. Configured with a High-Speed Single Anvil, it runs at up to 394 ft/min. For clients with specialized requirements, custom options can easily be accommodated. This meets the demands of the latest HP Indigo V12 Digital Press”.
Attendees will meet the GM team and experience the DC350Mini and HF350 Hot Foil at booth #445 in the Solutions Showcase, at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Centre.
